ADRA Honored

From an ADRA news release (23 Dec 2010):

WASHINGTON, D.C.- The Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) has been awarded the Best Practices & Innovation (BPI) Award for Agriculture and Rural Livelihoods by InterAction, an alliance of U.S.-based international nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) focused on the world’s poor and most vulnerable people.

During the December 12 award ceremony, ADRA was recognized by InterAction as one of five leading humanitarian agencies committed to improving the efficiency and impact of agriculture, food security and rural community economic development programs in the developing world.
